The owners private lake, which is about a 10 minute drive from the cottage, has easy access from a quiet country lane and ‘on site’ parking’ and offers an additional option when planning your holiday.The lake is set in an acre and is surrounded by mature oak, chestnut and pine trees which assure complete privacy. There is a small cabin and terraced area with garden furniture, ideal for picnics and watching the varied birds and animals that visit the lake. There are also numerous woodland walks in this area.

Swimming is not allowed for safety reasons but you are more than welcome to fish the lake in total seclusion for a small charge of  20€ /day/rod. (A fishing licence is not required when fishing a private lake) All that we ask is that you manage your sport professionally and respect the local environment.
